A New Era, Rooted in Who We’ve Always Been: Inside the Rebrand of MPG Productions

We’ve always believed that what matters most is what happens behind the scenes. How and where the gear is prepped, the crew is calm, and the real work gets done without the need for flash.

But sometimes, even behind-the-scenes teams deserve the spotlight.

This year, MPG Productions partnered with Lindsay Schwartz Consulting + Creative to usher in the first full rebrand of our company since we opened our doors in 1989. After more than three decades of trusted partnerships, steady growth, and a reputation built on reliability and results, we knew it was time for our brand to evolve to better reflect the caliber of work we’ve always delivered.

And like everything we do, it started with listening.

This wasn’t a surface-level logo swap. It was a deep dive into who we are, what makes our team different, and how we want to show up for our clients and for the next generation of production professionals.

Together with the LSCC team, we explored the values that have shaped MPG over the years: calm in the chaos, quiet confidence, and an the commitment to our clients. The conversations, questions, and brand exercises revealed a powerful truth: our strength lies in being grounded, dependable, and thoughtful.

That became the foundation for everything else.

The new brand identity was designed to feel quietly premium and unmistakably modern. It reflects who we’ve always been, without leaning on tired industry tropes. No cables or microphones here. Just clean, timeless design that feels built to last.

We started with our logo. The creative team retained the essence of the original MPG pyramid, but refined the shape with modern geometry and spacing and added the monogram within. A new color palette brings vibrancy and energy while the updated font suite adds polish without losing approachability.

Every element was designed to hold up in real-world use: from show decks to branded cases, small screens to large-format signage. It’s a brand that works where we work.

Of course, the visual update was only part of the story. The new mpgproductions.com  tells our story more clearly than ever, starting with the people behind the gear.

The upgraded website gives clients a window into our process, our work, and our philosophy. From the homepage to the case studies to the team bios, we wanted every word and image to reflect the people-first, solution-focused approach that sets us apart.

The voice is warm, professional, and calm. The copy tells it like it is. It’s built for producers, planners, and partners who know what great production really takes.

This rebrand marks a new chapter for MPG, but it’s not a departure from who we are. It’s a clearer reflection of what we’ve always brought to the table and a renewed energy and commitment to doing it with purpose, humility, and heart.
